Answer :– The story touches different aspects of life. There are a number of thing which can be learnt from the story. Like the understanding power of animals, the concerns of a house wife. Mostly, it deals with the attitude and approach of life. Halku, the main character, lies in a very poor state and is surrounded with problems all around him always. But he faces them boldly and happily. He never gives up and lies happily. (कहानी जीवन के विभिन्न पहलुओं को छूती है। इस कहानी से बहुत सी बातें सीखने को मिलती हैं। जैसे जानवरों की समझने की शक्ति, एक घरेलू महिला की चिंताएँ। अधिकांशतः यह जीवन के दृष्टिकोण से संबंधित है। मुख्य पात्र हल्कू की हालत बहुत खराब है और वह हर समय समस्याओं से घिरा रहता है। लेकिन वह उसका साहसपूर्वक और खुशी से सामना करता है। वह कभी हार नहीं मानता है।)

Answer :– Halku was a poor tenant farmer. He had to sleep in the fields at night. He needed a blanket immediately because he had to face intense cold in the fields at night. (हल्कू एक गरीब बटाईदार किसान था। रात को उन्हें खेतों में सोना पड़ता था। उसे तुरंत कंबल की जरूरत थी क्योंकि रात में खेतों में उसे अत्यधिक ठंड का सामना करना पड़ता था।)
