Demeter, the Goddess of flowers’ and plants, had a beautiful daughter named Persephone. One day Persephone was playing in the words with nymphs. Pluto drove past, riding his dark carriage pulled by four dark horses. Pluto fell in love with Persephone at Once and wanted to make her, his queen. He was strange and dark faced.
